MINISTER for Veterans' Affairs in Croatia, Mijo Crnoja, sees no reason for resignation and states that he believes he has done nothing incompatible with his ministerial duties, Index.hr reported.
The new Croatian minister, Crnoja, came into the spotlight after media revealed that he had registered a wooden shack on a plot of land in Samobor as his place of residence, N1 reported.

"Why?" Crnoja responded on Wednesday to a journalist's question about whether he would resign. I don't think anything is wrong, why, what for, Crnoja stated after a session of the parliamentary Committee on War Veterans, the Patria agency reported.
The media write that Crnoja registered his place of residence in Samobor instead of Zagreb, where he actually lives, most likely because it would have opened up the possibility for him not to pay certain types of taxes.
The minister denies such reports, saying that if necessary, he will pay all taxes he is accused of not having paid.
The SDP has requested the resignation of Minister Crnoja, Patria writes.
