NOT ELMEDIN, DŽUVO IS AN OPTION But for the Serb-Croatian world, according to the Dodik-Čović model!

By Rasim Belko

The pressure on the judiciary has been lifted with the removal of Osman Mehmedagić from the head of the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH, and it has started to work. The head of diplomacy and president of People and Justice, Elmedin Konaković, tells us these days, perhaps thrilled that two former mayors and one former city mayor have been arrested in Sarajevo.

From this enthusiastic lamentation about the culprits for the judiciary's inaction, only an argument that protects the judiciary from all accusations of inaction, which have been made by domestic and foreign officials, the special rapporteur, and especially the public in recent months and years, can emerge.

However, what Konaković is saying is far from the truth. But, building on the claims of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, we could say that the arrests began with the arrival of the new director of OSA, Almir Džuvo. In translation, this would mean that since his appointment, we have been living in a state of police persecution carried out by the judiciary. Because if the judiciary starts working with the change of the country's top intelligence officer, then we have a bigger problem. Especially if the change is reflected in the fact that direct political opponents are arrested, while drug lords and actors of high-level corruption remain untouched.

Nevertheless, no matter how much the head of BiH diplomacy tries to explain to us that Osmica was a wall against crime from Una to Drina, from Sava to the sea, the development of the situation actually leaves him exposed and without arguments. There is crime and corruption throughout the country, there are also war criminals, but there is neither OSA nor judiciary anywhere except in Sarajevo. This is the first proof that Osmica, without defending him for some omissions, is not the culprit for the judiciary's inaction, especially not the first one to be highlighted.

Furthermore, while the director who was criticized by everyone was at the head of OSA, lobbyists of the Serbian world and the Russian aggressor were not allowed to enter BiH. And here we come to the second argument that neutralizes Elmedin Konaković's spin. Because, three months after the change at the head of OSA, these lobbyists were allowed to enter our country. So, they will now be able to move freely, agitate, spy, and all for the sake of our downfall. Excellent, minister, 1:0 for Trojka, HDZ, and SNSD against BiH.

Now, the media reports from the post-election period, according to which Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović favored Almir Džuvo in the selection of the OSA director, are becoming much clearer. With the arrival of "reform forces" at the top of OSA, Dodik installed his cadre, and the Russian school in the person of Risto Zarić. If Džuvo is his man, along with the loyal chief prosecutor Milanko Kajganić, it is clear in which direction the police-judicial apparatus will move.

Another media report refutes Konaković's claim. According to that report, while Džuvo was at the head of OSA, OSA stopped dealing with war crimes overnight, although it had previously been of the greatest assistance: Here too, we can look for the reason why Džuvo is Dodik's favorite over Mehmedagić.

At the same time, Džuvo has Croatian citizenship, which was awarded to him through the institutions by the leadership of the local HDZ. Croatian media also wrote about this. After everything we have experienced from October until today, it is clear to us in which direction Croatian policy is going on both sides of the border, so we wonder if this is the reason why Džuvo was also Čović's favorite. Especially when we consider the Herzegovinian el dorado that remains outside the sights of the police agencies, the conclusion is self-evident.

Another recent interesting fact refutes Konaković. Namely, after his appointment, Džuvo met with Kajganić, and instead of high-level corruption, investigations into war criminals, and the paths they take to evade justice, they focused on terrorism. And few can even remember the last attempt at terrorism in BiH. So, the new head of OSA and the state prosecutor did not talk much about crime and corruption; they have some other plans, completely different from Konaković's.

And finally, isn't it hypocritical, Minister Konaković, to boast about the head of OSA when the entire public in BiH knows that he was installed by the US Embassy and that you were against it. To remind you, Minister Konaković, during your guest appearance on Face TV before the election of the OSA director, you said, "Džuvo is not among the candidate names, he is not an option."

However, wishes are one thing, and the American boss is another. Therefore, it is unclear what you are boasting about, when it is obvious that cowboy Michael Murphy chose the head of the secret service of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. So, Džuvo is an option, but not to help the judiciary, but on the contrary, to help realize the project of the Serb-Croatian world.

That is why he emphasized terrorism with Kajganić. Because who cares about corruption, crime, criminals, and denial of genocide; terrorism needs to be brought back into focus so that Bosniaks are once again portrayed as bogeymen and fundamentalists who need to be dealt with.

And that is one of the reasons why Džuvo suits Dodik and Čović, because the now-exposed story about the "Christian cause" is actually a story about creating mini-states in which they will be viceroys of Serbia and Croatia.

And for that to happen, Bosniaks need to be extremized and turned into a tribal community that deserves no more than a ghetto. This is the path that Christian Schmidt has started, but for it to be completed and, above all, successful, cowboys need loyal cadres who declare themselves as Bosniaks and bear Muslim names.

Few people are unclear about anything in this story. Spins will not change that, especially after Džuvo gave "intelligence clearance" to the lawyer and witness of a convicted genocidaire who created Republika Srpska to enter BiH and help Dodik and Čović.
