(Patria) - Deputy President of the Homeland Movement (DP) Stipo Mlinarić announced for Wednesday the presentation of the Declaration on the establishment of a Croatian electoral unit in the Federation of BiH, emphasizing that no one has yet seen the final version of the document and that it will first be offered to coalition partners, and then to the public.
At the same time, representative of the Bosniak national minority Armin Hodžić assessed that the initiative is unfeasible and politically harmful, warning that it does not contribute to relations between Croatia and BiH nor to resolving open issues in the country. He also believes it is a political move that will not yield results, especially in the pre-election period.
From the ruling majority, Hrvoje Zekanović (HDS) stated that there are no disagreements within the coalition on this issue and that the government will continue to function without major tensions, with the assessment that certain interpretations are “exaggerated and populist.”
All interlocutors rejected claims about a possible withdrawal of Croats from the Federation of BiH, with the message that dialogue is the only sustainable framework for resolving political issues in BiH.
