AFTER THREE DECADES OF WAITING Tahirović: With a clear conscience, we can tell the world - Serbia is the aggressor against Bosnia and Herzegovina!

(Patria) - I am satisfied with the verdict, I have been waiting for this for thirty years. More precisely, 30 years and six days, because the International Criminal Court was formed on May 25, 1993. Since then, we have been waiting for someone from the Serbian leadership to be convicted for Serbia's participation in the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Murat Tahirović, president of the Association of Victims and Witnesses of War.

"The leadership of the State Security Service of Serbia was directly involved in the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is enough for us to be able to tell the world with a clear conscience - Serbia was the aggressor against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia is responsible for crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia is, among other things, responsible for crimes in the Republic of Croatia," Tahirović stated.  

We remind you that the Residual Mechanism for Criminal Courts (the successor to the Hague Tribunal) today delivered a final verdict, sentencing the heads of the Serbian State Security Service, Jovica Stanišić and Franko Simatović, to 15 years each for the Joint Criminal Enterprise in BiH, thereby establishing Serbia's participation in the aggression against BiH.
