After Yesterday's Massacre in Belgrade: Seventh-Grade Student Waved Plastic Gun at School in Obrenovac

(Patria) - A seventh-grade student of the Elementary School "Jefimija" in Obrenovac waved a plastic gun this morning at 7:35 AM, immediately after the minute of silence held for the children and guard who died in the Belgrade Elementary School "Vladislav Ribnikar".

As told to Danas.rs by the Ministry of Interior, the boy was taken in, and an informational interview will be conducted with him as well as with his father.

The school police officer was the first to react at the scene. After the minute of silence, the children were left alone in the classroom for a moment because the teacher stepped out to check if all children were in their classrooms. During that time, this student took out a plastic gun.

The children in the classroom became frightened, the homeroom teacher was informed, as was the Social Work Center service, and one of these boys was handed over with a parent to the Ministry of Interior officers, who reacted immediately upon receiving the call.
