On a flight to Zagreb: Germanwings plane wing "secured" with tape!

A Germanwings Airbus was waiting on January 27th this year for passengers to board on the runway at Tegel Airport, located eight kilometers from Berlin. The boarding stairs were ready, reports the news agency Patria.

Passengers began to board, but while climbing them, a reader of 24sata.hr stopped in amazement. He couldn't believe what he saw above the left wing.

- I was returning from a business trip from Germany to Croatia. I flew from Düsseldorf on a Germanwings plane. I had a layover in Berlin, from where I flew to Zagreb. I arrived at the airport terminal on time. Around 11 o'clock, we boarded buses that took us to the runway. When they left us on the runway, there was a rush to board because some passengers had lost bags and other items. After a few minutes, boarding began. I was climbing the stairs, and then I stopped. A little above the left wing, I saw damage. It was covered with tape. When I saw the tape, I wasn't entirely comfortable boarding the plane. But in the end, I did board - said the reader who was shocked by the sight.

The flight to Zagreb, fortunately, passed without any problems. Josip Milošević, a court expert for aviation accidents, says that the mechanic likely made a subjective decision during the aircraft inspection that the tape would hold for the flight.
