
(Patria) - The border police of Montenegro prevented the smuggling of 18 kilograms of cocaine at the Debeli brijeg crossing on the border with Croatia.
According to the police, around one hour after midnight on November 16, an Albanian citizen A.H. (34) driving a BMW car with French license plates was arrested.

"During a detailed inspection of the vehicle, 18 packages containing a white powdery substance, suspected to be the narcotic drug cocaine, with a total mass of about 18 kilograms, were found and seized in a specially made compartment.
The seized drug will be subject to expert examination at the Forensic Center," the police statement said.
It was added that by order of the state prosecutor, A.H. was arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession, and trafficking of narcotic drugs.
The vehicle inspection was carried out based on operational data from the Police Directorate, the statement concludes.
