
An unknown man who was waving a pistol in front of the Serbian Government building today at the corner of Kneza Miloša and Nemanjina streets in Belgrade threw the weapon and surrendered to the police, Serbian media report, as relayed by the BH News Agency Patria.
The unknown man was taken into the Serbian Government building, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs had previously sent a negotiation team to the scene, with the intervention unit and members of the Gendarmerie present, as well as an ambulance.
The reasons for this incident are unknown, and according to media reports, he is a military pensioner.
