Footballer of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team Mensur Mujdža said in a statement to the BiH news agency Patria (NAP) that he is more than satisfied with the qualifying group our country received in the draw for the European Football Championship to be held in France in 2016.
- I think if we had chosen who we wanted in the group with our own hands, we wouldn't have chosen such favourable opponents - said Mujdža. He added that he is glad we avoided our neighbours Serbia and Croatia, because, by unwritten rule, the biggest problems always happen there.
- We shouldn't rejoice in advance. Every opponent should be taken seriously. But, I am sure that, if we are smart, we can qualify for the European Championship in France - says Mujdža.
The groups for the European Football Championship to be held in France in 2016 were just drawn at the Palais Des Congres Acropolis in Nice.
The BiH national team, which was one of the seeded teams, will play in group B, the draw decided, and our opponents will be Andorra, Cyprus, Wales, Israel, Belgium.
