To the general surprise of the public, students of the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies of the University of Sarajevo, Valentina Vujičić and Slađana Todić, accused of glorifying convicted war criminals and spreading inter-ethnic hatred on the 28th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, will continue their education in Belgrade!
The public is surprised, but apparently not the BiH political representatives, whose reaction has been absent. And that is the institutional one.
A protest note to Serbia was expected from the Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković, but it was absent. And that is the minimum he should have done!
Support for Konaković should also end there, and in civilized countries, his dismissal would have been initiated.
We remind you that the continuation of the students' education was enabled by the director of the BIA, Aleksandar Vulin (recently on the US blacklist), thanks to whom they will receive a scholarship for studies at the Academy for National Security in Belgrade and accommodation in a student dormitory.
There is no doubt that at this academy, the 'students' who celebrate 'that they killed us' will be further educated for the continuation of the genocide against Bosniaks, because denying, and even glorifying genocide, is part of that process in which they cast a huge shadow on Serbs in 1995.
And the fact that Aleksandar Vučić repeats like a parrot that Serbia is working to preserve peace in the region, while doing the opposite, should not be surprising, because his words are actually part of a campaign conceived in SANU, from which no representative of the Serbian authorities deviates.
But why do BiH authorities gladly participate in this?
Is a chair and apparent peace more important than the truth and clear stories that Serbia has never given up on its pretensions.
The Minister of Defense, Zukan Helez, could also take concrete action and prevent members of the Armed Forces from going to Serbia for training, because after the blatant example of what Serbia institutionally supports, is it realistic to expect that the soldiers of the BiH Armed Forces will be educated correctly and morally.
Are such cadres trained in Serbia part of the BIA's 'weaponry' against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Helez has not yet responded to Patria's inquiry as to whether he will address this significant issue, which, admittedly, has been a burden for a long time, but now, after the award for genocide deniers, it is particularly coming into focus!
There are numerous examples in Bosnia and Herzegovina of those who were educated in Belgrade and are now holding positions from which they work against the interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina without exception.
However, apparently, even that is not decisive when it comes to the attitude towards the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Because Konaković was educated in Sarajevo, but by his inaction in this case, he showed that Vulin and his team can do whatever they want, without any countermeasures from Sarajevo!
Such a picture is sad and above all unacceptable, because one cannot expect neighboring countries, which were aggressors against our country, to change their views, when they are still offered a hand of reconciliation from Bosnia and Herzegovina for every act of anti-civilization, which also means a helping hand before the international community!
