Mostar Fair this year without Plenković and Grabar-Kitarović, Vučić confirms attendance

MOSTAR, (Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik will open the 22nd International Economy Fair in Mostar on Tuesday. 

The arrival at the opening ceremony of the Mostar Fair has been confirmed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. The Croatian delegation will be led by Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Darko Horvat, confirmed to the Patria agency. 

From the office of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, Patria was informed that „the President of the Republic of Croatia will not participate in the opening of the economy fair in Mostar“, while Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković will also not travel to Mostar. 

At last year's fair in Mostar, the opening ceremony was attended by then-President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, while this year the number of foreign dignitaries in Mostar will be significantly smaller.

This year's partner country of the Mostar Fair is China. Zhou Tong, Deputy Director of the General Office for Trade and Investment of the People's Republic of China, stated that the Mostar Fair has gained a true friend in China through this partnership and that it will attract even greater attention from Chinese entrepreneurs.
