Most: Petrov did not say Croatia will not support a new entity in BiH

The Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Božo Petrov, denied that in his conversation with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdić, today in Sarajevo, he said that Croatia does not support an additional entity, "because that issue was not even mentioned".

The cabinet of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdić, announced today that "the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Božo Petrov, after meeting with Zvizdić in Sarajevo, said that Croatia respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH, the equality of the three constituent peoples, but also that it does not support the creation of an additional entity in BiH", but such statements were denied by Most, whose president Petrov is.

- Petrov, as the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, emphasized that he supports BiH on its European path, and that he advocates for federalization which will be the basis for the equality of the three peoples - it was announced from Most. 

In its reaction, Most stated that during his visit to Sarajevo, Petrov paid special attention to the amendments to the Election Law, according to the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, which, Most believes, should finally enable Croats to return their voting rights within the constitutional framework and elect legitimate representatives in power in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement, to which Croatia is one of the signatories.

- From the position of the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Božo Petrov believes that it would be inappropriate for him, as a politician from a neighboring country, to participate in discussions on internal political issues of BiH, but on issues concerning the equality of Croats in BiH and Dayton categories such as the legitimate election of representatives in accordance with the Dayton provision on the constitutionality of peoples, Croatia should certainly have a clear stance", Most stated, reports Patria.
