Miting "Budućnost Srbije" in Belgrade concluded with Vučić's speech

(Patria) - A rally as part of President Aleksandar Vučić's "Future of Serbia" campaign was held in Belgrade. Supporters of the SNS filled the plateau in front of the National Assembly building. They were addressed by Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, Hungarian Minister Peter Szijjártó, Minister Ivica Dačić, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, a commander from Košare, and finally Vučić.

Vučić stated at the "Future of Serbia" rally in the center of Belgrade that the goal of his policy is satisfied citizens, not conflicts. He also said that he believes there are those among his political opponents who wish the country well and that "we should see what we can agree on," but he warns that he will not accept ultimatums, N1 Serbia reports.

He stated that many emissaries from around the world are telling him to do something to "appease" Priština to lift the taxes on Serbian goods, but that, regardless of the fact that it will not be easy to withstand the pressure, Serbia's message is that it will not do so.

He also stated that there are slim chances of Volkswagen coming to Serbia, as some major countries and European Union members are competing for the company's investment.

"No one can separate us by anything, we have shown that we belong to the same kind and people and that no one can take that away from us. That we have the same language and culture. That when something bad happens in Belgrade, the one in Prijedor worries just as much as the one in Pljevlja, even though it is in another country, and we also worry when they have problems in Šamac and Doboj or Herceg Novi or some other place," said Vučić.

He told the attendees that they have not offended anyone and that they respect the territorial integrity of every country in the region.

"But, we have the right to call ourselves Serbs, without threatening anyone, to preserve our national identity, our Serbian language, and to defend the Cyrillic script," said Vučić.

Vučić's arrival on stage was accompanied by drummers, applause, lit flares, and chants of "Aco, Srbine" (Aco, Serb).
