Serbian Government Minister at SNSD Pre-election Rally

(Patria) - Current Minister of Agriculture in the Government of Serbia, Branislav Nedimović, expressed support for SNSD at a pre-election rally in Nova Topola near Gradiška.

Nedimović is also the president of the municipal board of Vučić's SNS in Sremska Mitrovica in neighboring Serbia. 

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić recently stated, in response to a statement by the BiH Presidency member Mladen Ivanić that Serbia should not interfere in the elections in Republika Srpska, that he personally had not interfered so far and did not know who Ivanić was referring to.

“Regarding Ivanić’s statement that Serbia should not interfere in the elections, I personally have not interfered so far, neither in the past elections nor the ones before that in Republika Srpska, and I don’t know who Ivanić was referring to,” Vučić told reporters in Belgrade.

The President of the BiH entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, also stated recently in Belgrade that Serbia will not interfere in the elections in BiH, nor, as he said, is Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić prepared to do so.

"Serbia wants fair and honest elections, which I could hear from President Vučić, and is interested in the results being implemented quickly," Dodik told reporters after a meeting with Vučić in June this year.

Both Vučić and Dodik recently accused embassies in BiH of interfering in the electoral process of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while rejecting accusations that Serbia is doing so.
