Milinović: I'm not sure if I will run, but I would beat Plenković!

HDZ Presidency member Darko Milinović did not dismiss rumours that he would be one of the candidates for the head of HDZ in the upcoming elections, Jutarnji reports, NAP conveys.

  - I have gathered 1360 signatures for candidacy, which means the 9th electoral district is on its feet. However, that still does not mean I will run. I still need to put some pieces together, but if I run, I will beat Andrej Plenković in the first round, the HDZ Presidency member said confidently.

Initially a big supporter of Karamarko, Milinović later distanced himself:
- I am neither for Tomislav Karamarko nor for Milijan Brkić, I am exclusively on the side of HDZ.

- I gave my support to the institution of the HDZ president, and that is Tomislav Karamarko at this moment. So not to Tomislav Karamarko as such, but to the president of HDZ, Milinović explained to reporters.
