
(Patria) - Croatian President Zoran Milanović commented on the occasion of the commemoration of the 28th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica.
He emphasized that remembering the victims of Srebrenica is important for future generations, so that such crimes are not repeated.
"On this day, we remember more than eight thousand victims of the genocide in Srebrenica. This sad anniversary is especially difficult and painful for the families of the murdered, to whom I wish to express my sincerest condolences once again. Remembering the victims of Srebrenica is important for future generations too, so that such crimes are not repeated," Milanović stated via Facebook.
Among the 30 identified victims, the youngest victim was 15 years old, and the oldest was 65 years old at the time of their murder.
