(Patria) - Former Vice-President of the Srpska Lista, Milan Radoičić, gave a statement to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia this morning regarding the events in Banjska, Kosovo on September 24.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that he arrived at the MUP premises at 10 AM today with his lawyer and gave a statement as a citizen, and that the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office will publish a report on the matter.
It is stated that the prosecutor's office will undertake further procedural measures and actions within its jurisdiction.
In a statement read by his lawyer on Friday, Radoičić took full responsibility for the events in Banjska, stating that he did not have the assistance of the Serbian authorities, nor did he inform them about it.
He resigned from his position as Vice-President of the Srpska Lista.
In the attack by a group of Serbs on September 24, led by Radoičić, a Kosovo police officer was killed, after which the country's police liquidated four attackers and arrested six in an anti-terrorist operation. The rest, like Radoičić, fled to Serbia.
