INTERFERENCE IN MONTENEGRIN ELECTIONS Portals from Serbia spread false news about Ivan Vuković being beaten

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Digital Forensics Center announced that several portals from Serbia published false news about the beating of Podgorica Mayor Ivan Vuković.

As they stated, the portals Naša borba, Vaseljenska Tv, Nacionalist and Glas javnosti published yesterday articles about the alleged beating of the current Mayor of Podgorica Ivan Vuković by the President of the Democratic Party of Socialists Milo Đukanović.

They add that Vuković denied these claims on his Twitter account. From the Clinical Center, it was confirmed to the DFC that the Mayor of Podgorica was not admitted to that health facility during yesterday's day. 

"After the false news about Vuković being beaten, a coordinated effort from the same addresses followed in spreading deceptions regarding Milica Pejanović Đurišić", they point out. Thus, on the portals Nacionalist, Naša borba and Vidovdan, one could read about the former Minister of Defense of Montenegro leaving the DPS, even though she did so several years ago.

Also, on the mentioned portals, it is stated that Pejanović Đurišić was sent to Rožaje to regain support for Milo Đukanović from members of the Bosniak Party, which is yet another false news, the DFC states.

After the false information about Vuković and Pejanović Đurišić, the portals Nacionalist, Naša borba and Vaseljenska continued with synchronized deception of the public.

On the mentioned portals, as they state, it was published that the police in Nikšić detained several DPS activists who tried to buy votes. The police administration announced that today, in connection with the elections, there were no detentions of activists of the Democratic Party of Socialists in Nikšić.
