Mehmedović wrote to Borrell: The presence of the Croatian army in BiH opens the door for Serbia to the same plan

(Patria) - State delegate Šemsudin Mehmedović sent a letter to Josep Borrell, head of EU diplomacy, regarding the claims of Croatian officials that there are no obstacles for them to send their army to BiH.

"The reason for this letter is the statement by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković after the meeting with you in Brussels, which in two points contains all the hegemonic intentions of Croatian policy since 1990 and the entire shameful attitude of the EU towards the Joint Criminal Enterprise and the verdicts of the ICTY.

I refer to the statement by the Prime Minister of Croatia in which he directly said that you are the person responsible for the future unimpeded presence of the Croatian army in BiH. These statements came after Plenković's meeting with you: Plenković: ... 'Regarding the Croatian request to participate in the EU mission Altea in BiH, which Borrell rejected citing the provisions of the Dayton Peace Agreement, Plenković says that these reasons have been overcome today, that there are no longer any obstacles to that, but that it is much more important that Croats can choose their representatives and that they are completely equal' ...

Plenković: He said that he informed Borrell about his impressions after visiting Mostar and participating in the Croatian National Assembly.

- We did everything we could, and ultimately, that is why this issue became a political issue that led to the intervention of the High Representative Christian Schmidt, after the end of the elections in BiH. That intervention enabled a comfortable position for Croats in BiH, said Plenković.

Mr. Borrell

Regardless of the fact that Croatia is a member of the EU, it was an aggressor and part of aggressive endeavors in cooperation with Serbia in BiH, as evidenced by numerous documents and ICTY verdicts, and its policy and goals of Franjo Tuđman remain unchanged towards BiH today. It is terrible that you, as the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Policy, allowed yourself to discuss with the Prime Minister of Croatia how, thanks to Croatia's interference in the internal affairs of BiH, Schmidt made a decision under the influence of the Croatian Government. This is a supreme testimony with far-reaching consequences. This is a message that tells us that the EU is part of the patronage of the quiet occupation of BiH by Zagreb. Plenković directly informs you about how Croatia is realizing its interests in BiH through High Representative Schmidt and you as High Representative for EU Foreign Policy. Then Putin could also inform you with the assistance of Vučić about Russian plans for the position of pro-Russian regions in Ukraine.

If the Croatian army comes to BiH, it would be an act of capitulation of international justice, an act of capitulation of BiH and the ICTY, and the international role in BiH.

If such an initiative were part of an EU action, then the EU would accept that joint criminal enterprise, aggression, war crimes, and ethnic cleansing become part of the EU's foreign policy principles, which we in BiH have experienced firsthand. If you accept this, then history will judge you as someone who sided with evil.

You must understand that the goals of Croatia and Serbia remain the same in BiH. It is the division of the land into spheres of interest. I ask you now what the EU is fighting against in the case of Ukraine: I remind you that you are fighting against Putinism in BiH precisely with the examples of the Putin-like actions of Croatia and Serbia.

Mr. Borrell, you must bear in mind that Plenković is opening the door to Serbia, and after this, a similar initiative will follow for Serbia to also have its army present in BiH. The EU is choosing between Putin's principles and EU principles in BiH; what Plenković is doing is pure Putinism. If this happens, as Plenković announced, referring to agreements with you and the EU, then you have recognized the principles of Putinism, Tuđmanism, and Miloševićism in BiH, the Russian, Serbian, and Croatian worlds. It would be completely clear that it is the realization of not Orban-Janša's non-paper now, but a quiet EU non-paper and the beginning of Croatian and Serbian military and political administration over BiH.

I must inform you that the Croatian army can enter BiH territory only with the consent of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I fear that after your meeting with Plenković regarding the participation of the Croatian Army in BiH, very stormy protests against you could follow in front of the EU Delegation in BiH, as well as in front of the International Court in The Hague.

From today, you are for BiH the High Representative of Tuđman's policy and the terrible crimes that Tuđman's Croatian policy committed in BiH, and his party HDZ continued to implement them by other means in peace in BiH with its sister party in BiH," stated Mehmedović.
