(Patria) - Šemsudin Mehmedović, a member of the Party of Democratic Action in the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, posted a reaction on his Facebook profile to Dodik's threats that the RS entity will secede from Bosnia and Herzegovina if state property of BiH is not handed over.
Mehmedović warned that "Dodik is playing with fire."
"Bosnia and Herzegovina is a state and will be, with or without Dodik and his followers!
Here is a comparison of how it looked some 80 years ago and today! In the case of 'access to the Aegean in Greece including the port of Thessaloniki,' which Hitler promised to Serbia in the event of 'any territorial changes in the Balkans,' as well as in the case of the issue of state property and functionality of BiH, the Greater Serbian program is always driven by the same motive, 'taking possession and then ownership of the territory of other countries and the property on it.' There is no doubt that if Serbia, in some other development of the situation, had obtained 'access to the Aegean Sea including Thessaloniki,' there would be no more than 5% Greek population in those areas, and Belgrade would pass a law on immovable property of Serbia that would extend to those territories in Greece. There is no country in the Balkans that is safe from the scourge that, out of a desire for plunder from Belgrade, started and waged one world war and four Balkan wars (two before the First World War, one on the ruins of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and one on the ruins of the SFRY) and inspired Hitler's program of frantic armament from the budget deficit and then military attacks on sleepy neighbors, which led to another world conflict and the Holocaust, to which Serbia gave a notable 'contribution.'
Pro-democratic, pro-Bosnian anti-fascist forces must launch a strong campaign to raise awareness in the U.S. Congress and the EU about the danger posed by the Serbian national program/Serbian world to the stability of the entire Balkans, and especially the policy of SNSD and its coalition partners in the RS.
This campaign should advocate for the deployment of an EUFOR unit in Brčko to discourage the separatist aspirations of the coalition gathered around SNSD and reduce their strength, as well as the obligation of the President of Serbia, according to the letter of Dayton, to declare that BiH is the state of Bosnian Serbs, to whom they should be loyal and for whose democratic progress and functionality they should strive, and that Serbia does not support the secession of the RS from BiH and its annexation to Serbia.
Is it realistic to expect this from today's government in Serbia, led by the same person who considers BiH citizens remnants of the Ottoman element? (For 1 Serb killed, 100 Bosniaks).
What monstrous politics and hypocritical president have we been talking about in the last few years, in which he has shown his charades and strong connection with the Balkan underworld.
Interlocutors abroad, including the Parliament of the United Kingdom, should be warned that if they allow the Law on Immovable Property of the RS to enter into force, they will get a Serbian Aegean and Thessaloniki in BiH and will give birth to a dragon that they will no longer be able to control even through EU and NATO membership.
After the adoption of such a law in BiH and possible limited reform of the BiH Constitution introducing a 'Serbian member of the BiH Presidency' from the RS, nothing will stand in the way of Serbia giving the green light to the RS leadership to adopt a new RS Constitution defining the RS as an entity of the Serbian people and organize a referendum on independence, citing elements of statehood that such a development would provide.
If the information is correct that about thirty countries in the world are already ready to recognize the RS, Serbia would almost certainly condition its entry into NATO on the U.S. and EU not opposing the recognition of the RS by states that wish to do so, and that NATO membership would also ensure an independent RS.
Aside from the fact that under current international law, neither the RS nor Serbia has the right to do so. BiH also had the right under the UN Charter to collective and individual self-defense against aggression by Serbia and Croatia, yet an arms embargo was imposed on it, which remained in force throughout the war against BiH.
And the High Representative in BiH, as the supreme interpreter of the civilian aspect of the Dayton Peace Agreement, which includes the special status of the ECHR, was obliged to implement all ECHR judgments in cases brought by BiH citizens before the Court, and made decisions that strengthened the disintegrative, great-state forces in BiH.
This is not a reason for apathy and passivity but a call to awakening, first and foremost for those who today manage processes and exercise power in the name of BiH, or only think they do.
What the connection between Hitler and Vučić (Dodik) is, is clear from these few remarks," Mehmedović's post on Facebook reads.
