Among the new Croatian ministers is a former nun

Along with Prime Minister Tihomir Orešković, the first Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia will be HDZ leader Tomislav Karamarko, while MOST leader Božo Petrov will be Deputy Prime Minister, reports the Patria News Agency.

Zdravko Marić, a manager from Agrokor, has been chosen as the Minister of Finance, and Miro Kovač, HDZ's international secretary, as the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs. Tomislav Panenić, mayor of Tompojevac municipality, is proposed for Minister of Economy, Josip Buljević, advisor to the President of the Republic, for Defence, Ante Šprlje, a judge from Metković, for Justice, and Dubravka Jurlina Alibegović from the Zagreb School of Economics and Management for Public Administration.

Darko Horvat, president of the Međimurje HDZ, should take over the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Nada Šikić, president of the HDZ Committee for Pensioners, Pension System and Social Policy, for Labour, Pension System and Social Policy, and Oleg Butković, mayor of Novi Vinodolski and member of the HDZ Presidency, for the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure.

Davor Romić, from the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb, is proposed for Minister of Agriculture, Anton Kliman, an entrepreneur and vice-president of the Istrian HDZ, for Tourism, Slaven Dobrović, from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb, for Environmental Protection and Nature, Lovro Kuščević, mayor of Nerežišća municipality, for Construction and Spatial Planning, and Mijo Crnoja, a retired colonel, for Veterans' Affairs.

Dario Nakić, former director of the Zadar General Hospital, should become Minister of Health, Predrag Šustar, from the Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka, for Science, Education and Sport, Zlatko Hasanbegović from the Ivo Pilar Institute, for Culture, Tomislav Tolušić, prefect of Virovitica-Podravina County, for Regional Development and EU Funds, and Bernardica Juretić, former director of the Government's Office for the Suppression of Drug Abuse and once the most famous nun, for Social Policy and Youth, writes Index.
