(Patria) - Yesterday around 3:35 PM, citizens found the body of an elderly man in the Trnava stream, under a bridge.
Police investigations have determined that the deceased is a 74-year-old man from the area of Mala Subotica, a municipality in Međimurje.
He leaned his bicycle against the bridge railing and started to descend the slope, losing his balance and falling into the one-meter-deep stream, where he drowned.
A coroner arrived at the scene to examine the body and determined that there were no signs of violent death and that death occurred by drowning.
The competent state prosecutor's office has been informed of the incident.
