Pro-government media announce: Vučić to announce 'far-reaching political decisions' on Monday, his resignation or that of the entire government possible

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić will announce "far-reaching political decisions that will change Serbia" on Monday.

Media close to Vučić have announced that the next three possibilities are: accepting the resignation of Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and the Government, general elections, and the resignation of the President.

Stating that a session of the expanded Executive Board of the Serbian Progressive Party was held on Saturday, "which was attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić after a long time," and referring to its sources in the SNS, Informer writes that Vučić spoke at that session "about the recent tragic events in Serbia and preparations for the SNS Assembly on May 27.".

Vučić, as Informer states on its portal, "also prepared the party for opposition activities for the first time.".

A tabloid close to the Serbian president and the leader of the progressives claims that "there are confirmations from the top of the SNS that on Monday evening on TV Happy, Vučić will announce far-reaching political decisions that will change Serbia.".

"As we learn, there are three variants of Vučić's decision," writes Informer.

The first of these three variants is "accepting the resignation of Ana Brnabić's entire cabinet," the second is "the joint resignation of both the Government and the President and going to general elections in which Vučić would not be able to run for president." The third variant is "the resignation of the president.".

"In any case, every decision will be confirmed at the SNS Assembly on May 27," states Informer.

Let us remind you, there have been talks in public for some time about the possibility of early elections in Serbia, which would be held by the end of the year or in the spring of next year.

The opposition is demanding elections at all levels, and Vučić told them that they would get them, without specifying when.
