Preparations for this year's Christmas in neighboring Croatia are in full swing. Thus, three thousand wish lanterns were released into the night sky from Zagreb's Dolac yesterday, writes the BH news agency Patria.
The magnificent sight, which the gathered citizens enjoyed, is a continuation of a tradition that has been going on for several years.
The author of the performance is Krešimir Tadija Kapulica, and the price per lantern is 10 kuna (about 3.5 KM), with all proceeds going to humanitarian purposes for children suffering from malignant diseases. He started this project four years ago.
Two people released one lantern each, thus sending their wishes into the "sky".
