Kurti: Serbia has deployed anti-aircraft systems near our border

(Patria) - Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated last night that Serbia has deployed anti-aircraft systems near the border with Kosovo.

Kurti warns that at the same time, "a paramilitary reorganization (of former Srpska Lista vice-president) Milan Radoičić is taking place in Raška".

He accused Serbian authorities of doing all this "with their instructions and support".

Kurti stated on Facebook that Radoičić met with 40 Serbian politicians on November 10, from whom, according to him, a mobilization was requested to vote for the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).

"There was a request for mobilization to vote for the party-state in Serbia, SNS, in the elections on December 17.

Those on the payroll are conditioned, while others were offered jobs for three and six months," Kurti said.

He points out that after the "terrorist attack" in northern Kosovo on September 24, Milan Radoičić "was released within a day to continue his paramilitary and terrorist activities in the service of Serbia's state policy towards Kosovo".

Kurti requested KFOR, EULEX, and the EU to issue a public report in which the "act of aggression, crime, and terrorism will be attributed to Serbia and the reorganization of Radoičić's group will be condemned".

"Even after international pressure, Serbia has not yet withdrawn all troops and artillery from the vicinity of Kosovo's territory.

It continues to threaten the security of the Republic of Kosovo with forward operating bases of the Serbian Armed Forces along the border with our country.

Furthermore, Serbia has deployed anti-aircraft systems near the border with Kosovo," Kurti wrote.

He emphasizes that "the danger from Russia and Serbia to regional stability, peace, and security is increasingly evident".

"Russia aims to ignite a crisis fire in the EU's backyard, to defocus NATO, while Serbia is fulfilling its territorial ambitions towards its neighbors according to the 'Serbian World' project, of Vulin and Vučić," Kurti emphasized on Facebook.
