Kurti: Serbia-Kosovo relations can be normalized with mutual recognition

(Patria) - Relations between Kosovo and Serbia should be normalized, and normalization can be achieved through mutual recognition, said Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti today in his address at the Economic Forum in Skopje.

- This has also been said by President (US Joe) Biden, Secretary (US Antony) Blinken, (German) Chancellor Olaf Scholz - that mutual recognition is the essence and central point of full normalization of relations.

We are trying and working, and we have the European Union's proposal as a basis, which was presented to me and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and we accepted the text of this proposal, we accepted it in two capitals and in Brussels, said Kurti.

The European Union published the text of the proposal for the normalization of relations after the meeting between Vučić and Kurti on Monday in Brussels. They are expected to continue negotiations on March 18 in Skopje, reports RSE.
