Kurti: No high-level meetings planned in Brussels by the end of the year

(Patria) - Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti says that a new round of high-level dialogue in Brussels is not planned by the end of the year.

Kurti told reporters that he is not aware of any planned meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in December, reports the portal Reporteri.

- The Government of Kosovo has always been committed and constructive in the dialogue with Serbia.

But after the terrorist attack in Banjska and Zvečan, we consider the security of our borders to be our country's priority.

We want the normalization of relations with Serbia, but we cannot have normalization without security, and security means that criminals, terrorists should not be free as they seem to be in Serbia.

We are cooperating with our security institutions, as well as with international partners - Kurti said.

The last time Vučić and Kurti were in Brussels was on October 26, when they had separate meetings with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and EU Special Envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue Miroslav Lajčak.
