Kurti: Dialogue cannot continue normally due to Serbia's tendency towards destabilization

(Patria) - Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that, given Serbia's tendencies towards destabilization, the dialogue cannot continue normally.

Kurti, at a joint conference with US senators Jeanne Shaheen and Peter Welch, said that he informed them about the latest data on the September 24 attack in Banjska, Serbia's involvement, and evidence that the Banjska attack is part of a broader plan to annex the north of Kosovo through coordinated attacks on 37 locations.

He added that intelligence agencies have noticed an increased risk of attacks from Serbia.

- These destabilization attempts must now be stopped. Dialogue mediated by the EU cannot continue because almost nothing has happened.

The chapter on dialogue for normalization must also take into account Serbia's aggressive actions and its efforts to annex Kosovo.

Steps must be taken to give dialogue another chance to succeed. It is more important than ever before that Serbia stops saying it will never recognize Kosovo - Kurti said.
