KS Crisis Staff: Further improve the testing process

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton for monitoring and analyzing the situation caused by the spread of the coronavirus analyzed at today's session the new orders of the Federal Ministry of Health, which define the organization of quarantines in cantons and the provision of appropriate health care to persons accommodated in them.

On this occasion, members of the Crisis Staff also discussed new guidelines from the World Health Organization, which concern the medical and epidemiological treatment and testing of cases.

They also discussed further improvement of the testing process in Sarajevo Canton and concluded that the epidemiological situation in the Canton remains stable, when looking at the number of infection cases in relation to the number of tests.

Members of the Crisis Staff were also informed at this session about the intensive activities being undertaken to establish and equip COVID clinics at the Public Institution "Health Center of Sarajevo Canton".

At the end of today's session, they stated that they continue to insist on the implementation of all previously established public health measures, all with the aim of preventing the spread of the new coronavirus epidemic.
