(Patria) - Regarding the latest events in Kosovo, Russia also spoke out. According to Serbian media reports, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow advocates for absolute
respect for all rights of Kosovo Serbs in the context of yet another escalation of the situation.
"We, of course, advocate for all rights of Kosovo Serbs to be absolutely ensured and for all obligations undertaken by the parties according to documents relevant to this
situation to be fulfilled," he told reporters, commenting on Belgrade's request to KFOR for Serbia to send its army and police to Kosovo.
"For us, the most important thing is to ensure the interests of the Serbs, and, of course, we advocate for the parties to make efforts peacefully and for this situation to be resolved through diplomatic means," Peskov said.
He stated that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić did not ask Moscow for help to reduce tensions in Kosovo, Sputnik reported.
