Kovačević: Lawsuit is the only way to defend BiH from aggressive policy from Zagreb

The intensity and scope of attacks on the sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the integrity of its institutions undertaken by the official authorities of the Republic of Croatia and their exponents in Bosnia and Herzegovina testify to the continuity of aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is the opinion of Dr. Goran Kovačević, assistant professor at the Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology and Security Studies in Sarajevo, after official Zagreb has been exerting strong pressure on BiH in recent days, mainly through the media, due to the arrest of ten former HVO members, who were arrested by SIPA on suspicion of committing war crimes in BiH against the Serb population in Orašje.

In a comment for NAP, Kovačević said that the direct interference in the internal affairs and organization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and threats that all EU documents will be turned against Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to secure the "vital interests" of Croats defined within "Greater Croatia", is actually the last straw.

- I believe that all conditions have been met for the official government structures in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the pro-Bosnian ones, if they have at least a little political dignity, to take the necessary legal steps to file a lawsuit against the Republic of Croatia for aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is the only way for our country to defend itself from the aggressive policy of the regime of the Republic of Croatia, whose ideological matrix is certainly not a product of positive civilizational trends - Kovačević commented.

He believes that it is high time for pro-Bosnian policies in BiH to seriously start taking care of their own destiny, and in that sense to use all formal-legal mechanisms against all those who have aggressive, separatist and secessionist intentions towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, whether they come from within or from outside, writes NAP.
