Members of the Kosovo Police Service withdrew from Lake Gazivode where they spent several hours. The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, was in the area, and the special forces were tasked with ensuring the visit.
Deputy Commander of the Kosovo Police for the North, Besim Hoti, rejected claims by Serbian officials about occupying Gazivode and arrests in the area.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić ordered full combat readiness of the Serbian Army, and Minister of the Interior Nebojša Stefanović of the Serbian Police.
