Kosovo Minister Pacolli: Dačić offered weapons in exchange for withdrawal of Kosovo's recognition

PRISHTINA, (Patria) - Kosovo's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bedžet Pacolli, accused Serbia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dačić, of offering weapons to Burundi in exchange for the withdrawal of the decision on recognizing Kosovo's independence, reports Tanjug.

The Kosovo minister said that they "would not be surprised if new countries emerge that will withdraw recognition" but, as he stated, this will not be the case with "serious countries with a long tradition of democracy".

- We have taken all measures to prevent this from happening. I hope that this country (Burundi) will soon invite us to establish diplomatic relations - Pacolli told KTV, as reported by Unmik.

Pacolli also mentioned Mali as one of the countries to which weapons were offered in exchange for the withdrawal of the decision to recognize.
