Kosovo Police Conduct Checks at Five Locations in Northern Kosovo

Kosovo Police announced that they are conducting checks at five different locations in northern Kosovo, related to the attack on Kosovo Police in the village of Banjska on Sunday.

"Kosovo Police today, 29.09.2023, is executing a court order for checks at five locations in three municipalities in northern Kosovo. These actions are being carried out in connection with the recent events that occurred in the village of Banjska," the police statement said.

The operation is being conducted by competent units of the Kosovo Police, and a prosecutor from the Special Prosecution Office of Kosovo is also present at the scene.

"On this occasion, Kosovo Police informs citizens that they should not worry. These control orders are being implemented in coordination with EULEX and KFOR," the statement said.
