Kosovo Police Announced: We Found a Pile of Weapons, Uniforms, Explosives, Food

(Patria) - The Kosovo Prosecutor's Office confirmed today, a day after clashes between local Serbs and the police, in which one policeman and three attackers were killed, that the body of another person suspected of participating in the attacks was found in the north of the country.

Prosecutor Naim Abazi confirmed this to Pristina media, stating that, according to current findings, four attackers were killed.

The body was found about a kilometer and a half from the scene of the clashes after a group of several dozen armed men attacked the Kosovo police.

- We are trying to identify him because he had no documents on him - Abazi said.

According to yesterday's reports, three attackers were killed in the police operation, and six people were arrested - two attackers and four who provided support.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić confirmed last night that three Serbs were killed.

- According to the information we have so far, two Serbs were seriously wounded, three were killed, and there is a fear that a fourth person was also killed - Vučić said in a special address.

The Kosovo Police announced today that they have established control over the territory of the village of Banjska and that two of the six arrested individuals were wounded.

Pristina media reported that a judicial-police investigative team has been dispatched to the area of the village of Banjska and the municipality of Zvečan to collect evidence, data, and testimonies about yesterday's conflict, Hina reports.

- The Kosovo Police discovered an exceptional amount of explosives, uniforms, logistics, food, equipment for barricades, intended for several hundred other attackers.

They are ready to violate Kosovo's sovereignty - Kosovo's Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla told Pristina media today.
