Kosovo: Abolition of tariffs on goods from Serbia and BiH will wait a few days

(Patria) - Today's meeting of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and Kosovo Assembly President Kadri Veseli with US Ambassador Philip Kosnett was held without the presence of the public, and afterwards none of the participants gave statements.

Kadri Veseli wrote on Facebook that “decisions on important processes, Kosovo will make in full coordination with the US and international partners.”

Veseli said that “Kosovo is determined to forever preserve friendship and strategic partnership with the US, and such a relationship will never change.”

The US and EU earlier called on Kosovo to revoke the decision on a 100 percent tariff on imports of goods from Serbia and BiH. Observers claim that there could be a replacement of Haradinaj from the prime minister's position or his subsequent concession in this case and the abolition of the tariff within seven to ten days.
