Konaković, who once found it crucial to stop the Greater Serbian machinery, is now their ally and doesn't care about hero Sejdić

In May 2022, the hero of the defense of Goražde, Ahmet Sejdić, was presented as reinforcement for People and Justice. The president of NIP, Elmedin Konaković, said at the time that he and like-minded people never had any doubt about standing with people whose role in the defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina was like Sejdić's.

However, much has changed from then until today. People and Justice entered into power, Konaković became the Minister of Foreign Affairs, is actively negotiating with Milorad Dodik, and the BiH Prosecutor's Office has filed a new indictment against Sejdić. In a previous case before the Court of BiH, he was definitively acquitted of all charges. According to Konaković's words, it was crucial at the time to stop the Greater Serbian machinery in its projected attacks on honorable heroes of the defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, even though he faced criticism as the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton.

However, there is no trace or word from the NIP president after yesterday's statement from the BiH Prosecutor's Office about the new indictment against defenders of the Army of RBiH, including Sejdić. Perhaps it is not 'crucial' today to stop the Greater Serbian machinery. NIP did not react to the abuse of displaced people from Žepa, whose pictures were used to illustrate 'Serbs expelled in Operation Storm' while the 'European' Dodik and Aleksandar Vučić were speaking in Prijedor, a city where thousands of Bosniaks were killed, detained, tortured, and raped, including 102 murdered children who still have no memorial. At least he could have asked Dodik for that in their mutual discussions.

And while the 'trojka' (trio) remains silent, Dodik does not stop. He curses them with genocide in the middle of Nikšić's Konjic, denies the state of BiH and its sovereignty, declares the entity of Rs a state, insults victims, insults NIP officials, all on the 'European path' to which the state coalition committed itself by agreement. The fact that the 'trojka' must give up everything on that false path, including the heroes of the defense of Goražde, Sarajevo, BiH, generals, their own identity, because they agree to be the 'Muslim representation', clearly does not concern Konaković.

In April this year, NIP issued a press release demanding that the UDT and VSTV investigate certain allegations and practices of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić. However, neither the UDT nor the VSTV took any action.

Meanwhile, a new indictment was issued, which includes Sejdić and 12 other individuals. Other indictments are being prepared against those who defended Sarajevo, Vareš, BiH, but even that does not concern our head of diplomacy and a minor fighter of the Army of RBiH.

Only the Cantonal Board of People and Justice of the Bosniansko-Podrinjski Canton Goražde reacted, expressing their outrage, dissatisfaction, and concern over the fact that the BiH Prosecutor's Office is clearly focused on prosecuting only members of the Army of RBiH, while remaining silent on the horrific crimes committed against the population of Goražde.

'The intention of the enemy to reverse the roles of victim and aggressor is clearly being implemented, and this is happening within the judicial institutions where justice should be administered,' stated the KO NIP BPK.

The humiliation that the 'trojka' has inflicted on Bosniaks, or at least the part that voted for them, and who now decide for all of us, cannot be measured. No one guarantees that the 'trojka' will stop, and no one expects them to finally stand up to Dodik and stop him from destroying BiH. The damage would not be so great if it only backfired on the 'trojka'; rather, the future of BiH and Bosniaks, who are increasingly marginalized every day, is questionable, which is also aided by the international community.
