Komšić: Serbian authorities must extradite criminal Đukić

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - On this day 71 children lost their lives, parents lost their children, and many more were wounded, today 24 years later, we remember the lost youth, time passes, but it does not hurt those people any less for everything they went through, it is stated in the announcement by the member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić on the anniversary of the crime at the Tuzla Gate.

"That is why we must not forget what happened, and for the sake of new youth we must move forward and build a better future. However, those responsible for crimes committed during the aggression against BiH must be brought to justice. When we talk about the Tuzla Gate, it is devastating for international justice and civilization that still, although convicted, Novak Đukić, the mastermind of this misdeed, freely walks around Serbia," says Komšić.

He adds that Serbia does not respect the protocol signed with the Ministry of Justice of BiH, which mandates the extradition of convicts.

"For justice to be satisfied, it is high time that the extradition agreement, specifically in this case, be implemented. I expect European and international institutions to make this clear to the authorities in Serbia," Komšić stated.
