The President of the Democratic Front and former member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, believes that Bakir Izetbegović, President of the SDA and Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, did nothing wrong and that there was no reason for reactions in Serbia following yesterday's statements during his visit to Novi Pazar, writes Patria.
We remind you that yesterday in Novi Pazar, in response to journalists' questions about why he bypassed Belgrade and came to Novi Pazar, Izetbegović said that he had been to Belgrade several times, and that Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić or Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić also visit Banja Luka or Trebinje but do not visit Sarajevo, and that there is nothing controversial about it. However, that statement caused sharp reactions from officials in Serbia, accusing Izetbegović of provoking conflict between Serbia and BiH.
Komšić says that such statements did not contain any elements that could disrupt the relations between the two countries.
- I think Bakir Izetbegović did nothing wrong, nor did he do anything that could disrupt the relations between the two countries. It is a completely different matter that Aleksandar Vulin, as well as some ministers, use every opportunity, however senseless it may be, to act like dangerous hawks - Komšić told N1.
