Komšić: Although they try to draw me in, I don't want to interfere in Croatia's election campaign

SARAJevo, (Patria) - I would not want to interfere in the election campaign in the Republic of Croatia, even when candidates for the president of Croatia try to involve me with their appearances and statements.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, reacting to the accusations of presidential candidate in Croatia, Zoran Milanović, who said that Komšić is a 'special case'.

“Whoever the citizens of the Republic of Croatia elect in the upcoming presidential elections, it is our obligation in Bosnia and Herzegovina to cooperate with that person, regardless of what we think of each other privately,” Komšić stated, reports the Patria agency.

Milanović called Željko Komšić a 'special case' while appearing on the show 'Nedjeljom u 2', broadcast on HRT.

Regarding the story of a 'Bosniak conspiracy' during the election of a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Croat people, Milanović said that in case of a 'Bosniak conspiracy', Bosniaks would find 'some Petar Horvatić' and elect him as a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"So, it doesn't work. It's just Željko Komšić. When he leaves, it will be remembered as a strange case. I invite him again, don't do that," Milanović said.
