Kolinda's advisor criticizes Bosniak National Council of Croatia

ZAGREB, (Patria) - Ante Šoljić, a member of the Homeland Security Council of the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, equated mujahideen and the Bosniak National Council of Croatia after the leadership of that organization criticized the recent appearance of war criminal Dario Kordić. Following the statement of the Bosniak National Council and the condemnation of the lecture by war criminal Dario Kordić to students, the BNC is, as noted, facing an avalanche of comments. 

However, the comment of Ante Šoljić, a member of the Homeland Security Council of the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, stands out.

"Let the National Bosniak Council deal a little with the murders of Croats in Central Bosnia and the persecution of mujahideen who did that together with them," wrote Šoljić on social networks.

"Such a comment, by a person who holds a rather responsible and important position, implies several things. First of all, it is obvious that Mr. Šoljić does not agree with the condemnation of the final convicted war criminal Dario Kordić. Secondly, it is obvious that he is not pleased that the BNC condemns the lecture of war criminal Kordić," they say from the BNC.

They emphasize that the last part of the comment, which says "who did that together with them," is somewhat unclear but also concerning. 

"It is not clear who exactly Šoljić means, he surely does not mean the Bosniaks of Croatia, of whom more than 1,100 died in the defense of the Republic of Croatia. It is particularly concerning that Mr. Šoljić is, in a way, an advisor to the President of the Republic of Croatia, and with such comments he implies a desire for silence from Bosniak organizations in the Republic of Croatia," the BNC statement says.

The BNC has already received comments stating that the president of that organization is an "Ottoman s**bag" and that he should be "silenced by any means" and that there should be funds in which such "guests" would be silenced or expelled. 

"The comments of Mr. Šoljić only contribute to and encourage such Facebook warriors who spread hatred and intolerance on social networks. Despite everything, the BNC will continue to fight for better integration of Bosniaks in the Republic of Croatia but also for better relations between the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina," the BNC says.
