(Patria) - In the morning hours, Harbour Master's Office officials spotted a male body in the sea off Split.
They retrieved it from the sea onto a boat, brought it to shore, and notified the police, the Split-Dalmatia Police Department announced.
The competent state attorney's office has been informed of the incident. An investigation will be conducted under the guidance of the deputy municipal state attorney, with the presence of a court expert.
According to initial information available to the police, two boats most likely collided at sea off Split.
A criminal investigation is currently underway.
