Who talks about what, Vučić about BiH

Even before this, the influence of the election campaign being conducted in Serbia would have been felt in BiH. Dodik went to Tadić and from rallies called on Serbs from Bosnia and Herzegovina to give him their vote.

What Aleksandar Vučić is doing now is not something that has been seen in the political practice of Serbian contenders for power in the last two decades.

No less, no more, in the midst of his election campaign, Vučić's biggest concern is Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he fears that it is only a matter of time before a spark ignites the powder keg here. He is not even as concerned about Kosovo as he is about BiH.

Vučić has played the card of winning over the right-wing electorate, while simultaneously presenting himself as the main "protector of Serbs on the western side of the Drina." He particularly intensified this narrative after the acquittal of Šešelj in The Hague.

Such rhetoric was appropriate for the war years in these regions.

The state that is so "in Vučić's heart and a painful wound" that he cannot sleep, and its most numerous nation, Bosniaks, paid the bloodiest price for the false concern of official Belgrade.

Vučić needs to gather votes, so one should not be surprised if his statements become even more inflammatory. Vučić began his campaign last year in Potočari. Let's recall what kind of statements he made then and how he became a national hero overnight.

This was followed by the verdicts for Karadžić and Šešelj, and he "argued" with Izetbegović.

The only question now is which political structures in BiH the Serbian Prime Minister is helping with his right-wing campaign, so that they too can score election points on nationalism, which is also flaring up in our country.

It could very easily be, besides Dodik as expected, Bakir Izetbegović, because it suits him too to win over the Bosniak electorate with harsh words and accusations in an election year.

It is clear that nationalism and a return to the 90s is the platform on which elections will be won or lost in both BiH and Serbia.

And people are people, on both sides of the Drina, they will easily fall for the "agreed" mutual political attacks and accusations. Because where the talk about the economy and well-being ends, the well-tested and profitable one for politicians begins, about nationalism.
