The Institute of Public Health simultaneously announced that the infection does not pose a threat to public health in Slovenia, the Slovenian agency STA reported.
The news about the infection was published by the tabloid „Slovenske novice“.
After that, the Minister of Health announced, stating that it was not confirmed.
„Slovenske novince“ stated that a Slovenian athlete was infected in Brazil, adding that this was confirmed to them by the Institute of Public Health.
