Chinese President Xi Jinping visits Serbia

Chinese President Xi Jinping said today that the relations between China and Serbia are deep and substantial, marked not only by friendship and cooperation, but also by shared values, and that China is ready to elevate the level of these relations.

Xi is on a three-day official visit to Serbia.

- We are ready to make efforts to strengthen the traditional friendship between the two countries established by our older generations. We are ready to further elevate the level of friendly relations together with you - emphasized Xi Jinping before the meeting with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić, reported Blic.

- Together we will sign a declaration on establishing a comprehensive strategic partnership. A few years ago, we also signed a joint declaration on deepening strategic relations - said the Chinese president in Belgrade, reports NAP.
