CANTON SARAJEVO 371 samples tested, 13 new coronavirus cases

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - After analyzing 371 samples collected between September 20 and 25 this year, 13 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Canton Sarajevo.

Seven of them, or 53.84 percent, belong to family clusters or contacts of previously ill individuals, and have been in self-isolation since before.

In the previous 24 hours, 16 people have recovered, so the number of active coronavirus infection cases is currently 226.

Twenty-five people are hospitalized in the Isolation Ward of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo at Podhrastovi.

Four patients were discharged from the Isolation Ward after hospitalization during the past 24 hours.

Since the last report, fortunately, there have been no deaths, so the total number of deaths from the consequences of coronavirus infection remains 81.

To date, 4,531 infected individuals have been confirmed in Canton Sarajevo, of whom 4,224 have recovered from COVID infection.

In the period from September 12 to 26 this year, 565 self-isolation orders were issued.
