Bosnia and Herzegovina U-19 team defeated in Podgorica

(Patria) - The junior national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (U-19) was defeated today in a friendly match in Podgorica by the corresponding selection of Montenegro with 0:1.

Both coaches gave most of the invited players an opportunity in this match.

There were no chances until the 32nd minute when the home team took the lead. Vuk Striković took advantage of carelessness in the BiH team's defense, went one-on-one with goalkeeper Nikola Ćetković, and shot accurately for 1:0.

In the second half, the BiH junior team threatened twice through Faruk Duraković. First, his free-kick attempt was stopped by goalkeeper Lazar Baltić. In the 66th minute, after Hamza Gasal's run down the right side, the ball reached Duraković, who shot over the goal from the edge of the penalty area.

Vlado Gajić missed an excellent chance for Montenegro in the 86th minute. The Montenegrin representative rounded goalkeeper Ćetković as well, but Amar Drina blocked his shot.

Adi Alić missed the last chance of the match in the 90th minute, hitting the post from the penalty spot after a cross from the right side.

These teams will play another match on February 11 at 11 AM.
