(Patria) - The storm from Slovenia has reached Croatia. Due to the forecasted thunderstorm, DHMZ has activated an orange alert for the Zagreb, Karlovac, and Split regions because of thunderstorms, while a red alert is in effect for the Gospić and Rijeka regions due to heavy rain.
Due to heavy rains in Zagreb, the Sava River overflowed its banks. According to hydrological models and the current forecast of further heavy precipitation, a sudden rise in water levels is expected in smaller tributaries of the upper parts of the Drava and Sava river basins, where the implementation of emergency flood defense measures is also possible.
Due to the force of the storm, trees toppled across Veli Lošinj.
Croatia has been hit by another storm, and a red alert has been issued for the coastal area so that citizens can take shelter in time.
