The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović said in an address to journalists in Sarajevo today that Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić did not need the capricious messages he sent after the Hague Tribunal convicted former RS President Radovan Karadžić, because even after the Hague Court's verdict, no one intends to violate the rights of Serbs in BiH or to restructure the country, reports the reporter of the BiH news agency Patria.
- I think everyone should read the verdict against Radovan Karadžić in detail and finally understand, at least to themselves, what happened in BiH from 1991 to 1995. Prime Minister Vučić, for example, could talk to the leadership from RS about the situation within this entity, and the situation in which Bosniaks find themselves there. Their safety is threatened, we have constant attacks on Bosniak returnees – said Izetbegović.
When asked if statements from Serbia could affect the relationship between Serbia and BiH, Izetbegović answered negatively. He said that the relations between BiH and Serbia will go upwards and the verdict against Karadžić should not affect the relations between Bosniaks and Serbs, nor the relations between BiH and Serbia, writes Patria.
