Izetbegović: SDA will not renounce Komšić and DF, Dodik and Čović are surrendering sovereignty to Belgrade and Zagreb

(Patria) - SDA President Bakir Izetbegović said that the SDA is still, as after October 2, a winning party, convincingly so in the FBiH. 

He said there is an ongoing attempt to remove the SDA from power, but that it will not succeed and that parties are helping in this. 

"I think this project is slowly tiring, and what gathered around the troika to push out the SDA, and which was supported by part of the international community, that project is generally tiring and falling apart. Parts of it are slowly falling off because the policies they pursue are tearing apart the cohesion within the Eight," said the SDA leader on the show Odbrojavanje on BHT. 

He said that some parties realize they have been used, and the SDA is returning to its natural position.

"I think we are slowly moving towards what is the normal state of affairs. We respect the constitution, the election results, we respect the winners, some normal relations in forming coalition alliances. The FBiH is unfortunately factually three-component, Bosniaks, Serbs, Croats and their representatives," he emphasized.

He says that the FBiH leadership Lidija Bradara, Refik Lendo and Igor Stojanović need to agree with the representative political parties on how the new FBiH Government will be formed.

When it comes to forming the government in the Una-Sana Canton, Izetbegović said that this could be a model for the government in the FBiH.

"Work was done on that, it didn't happen by chance in USK. The SDA saw where our weaknesses were. We created this front against ourselves because there are many people who were defeated by the SDA mandate after mandate. We made an effort to solve the problem and gradually attract some of those forces to us, and we will continue on that. It will be an SDA project to return some of the capacity to the strongest party in BiH." 

He announced that the troika plus will have under 40 votes, while the HDZ with HDZ 1990 has about twenty. 

"This bloc of SDA, DF plus some other parties will have maybe 45 or 47 and will have the dominant force in the FBiH Parliament. That will be the strongest component," Izetbegović believes.

He says a narrative is being created that the international community, the OHR, strong ambassadors will do something with the FBiH Constitution to remove the SDA and DF.

"Then some parties would not want to stay on the sidelines, so they hold both sides. They are not sure what will happen, if there are some decisions by the international community. There will be no impositions, there will be agreements," says the SDA president.

"The biggest problem in this country is not treated at all, and that is the behavior of Milorad Dodik, the international community helps the HDZ to be untouchable and to come into a position where it can dictate that it does not want the DF as a partner. You will not have legitimate Croats according to the wishes of the HNS. You will not throw out the patriotic core and cleanse Serbs and Croats who are not to your liking. We will protect that group of people. We will not renounce those people. That is what was asked of me, that the Croatian corps be represented by those who were in the HVO, and the HVO created the UZP. As long as I and the SDA are here, they will not treat Željko Komšić, who was on the right side, like that," is Izetbegović's message.

He also commented on the relationship between the SDA, SNSD and HDZ in the previous mandate period.

"Those relations gradually deteriorated, due to the SNSD's attack on the state and the HDZ's joining. The HDZ put pressure and then gradually my relationship with Čović also deteriorated because he did not want to cooperate with Bosniaks. I told him, come to our Bajram, sign an agreement with the Islamic Community, do not agree with Dodik and offer the sovereignty of BiH to Zagreb and Belgrade. They started an attack on BiH, then a combined attack on Bosniaks and the SDA. Now a division is being created, a patriotic core of DF and SDA, which is very powerful, is being pushed out in the name of what Dodik said, that Serbs and Croats will rule Bosnia and that they will choose who will represent the Bosniaks, whom they call Muslims. The international community leaves Dodik, and pushes out the SDA," said Izetbegović.

He also commented on the statements of the American ambassador who spoke about potential solutions for forming the new FBiH Government.

"That will be a new problem, just like what the High Representative did on October 2 is a problem, and it greatly weakened the authority of the OHR and the side that sought to make such decisions. You cannot ignore the will of patriots who died for this country, for the principles of the civilized world, and make concessions to those who create problems. Parties that do not want to sell principles for servile policies and chairs are leaving that Eight," he emphasized.

"We will remain principled and stand by the DF and Mr. Komšić. People who created problems will not dictate to us. We will find a way. The SDA is a huge party and we will connect it with other parties as we did in USK. We will see what the next elections will look like," is the message of the SDA leader.

He said that BiH will remain, but many will leave.

"New people will come. In the SDA, you have the best generation at this moment. There are those who will stay after me," says the SDA president. 

He claims that he unsuccessfully called for the establishment of a pro-Bosnian bloc to, among other things, protect state property.

"I asked for that, to establish a pro-Bosnian bloc because the HDZ and SNSD no longer have more than a quarter of the parliamentarians. I persistently called Nikišić and the Troika. That is the formula I offered five years ago. They embarked on this perverse project encouraged by the international community. Look how Dodik mocks them. The day before yesterday he said he would slowly lead to the RS as a state. He insults them. In Sarajevo, he celebrates January 9, which is banned. He decorates Putin and they don't deal with that, they deal with us," said Izetbegović.

He believes that Dodik is pushing boundaries and deserves to be sanctioned for anti-Dayton activities.

"At the moment when he held the unconstitutional referendum, if there was no reaction then, then this is not surprising. Alone, in BiH we cannot stop that if the international community behaves like this, and the judiciary too. I fear that they will gradually lead us to conflict. We will not give up this country, people died for this country, and that could lead us to misfortune because the international community is not reacting, not doing its job, and the judiciary is not doing its job to prosecute some things. It allows illegal things," Izetbegović believes.

He says that "some team" is coming that cannot handle this, has no experience and does not know.
